Miss Rogers is founder and director of the Beverly Rogers Academy of Dance. Her dance companies have one Regional and National Championship award since 1985. Beverly students have attained professional performing careers and Broadway shows, National towing companies, Cruise Ships, TV and film. Her students have performed on Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, and Disney stages. Her school was ranked among the top 10 competition schools in the nation buy Star systems national talent. The academy success throughout the years is a direct result of Miss Rogers desire to inspire each student with the joy of Dance Miss Rogers has judged dance competitions for showstopper, Legacy, and Primetime dance competitions. Miss Rogers hold a BFA in dance from Stevens College in Columbia Missouri and an MA In Theater Arts from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio. Beverly is proud of the fact that the four of the top choreographers in the country is choreography is featured on So You Think You Can Dance, Mia Michaels, Sonya tayeh, Andy blankenbuehler and Ray Leeper have choreographed for her BRD competition companies.
In 1984, Mr. Foresman began teaching and has since held his classes nationally and internationally. In NYC, he taught at Broadway Dance Center, Dance Space Center, the Soho Training Center, Pineapple Health club, Apple Health club, Equinox Health club, and Crunch Health club. Also nationally at the University of California Santa Cruz, San Jose' Ballet, Tandy Beal company, and Virginia School of the Arts. Internationally he directed/choreographed and taught at the Baroque and Dance Festival in Valtice Czech Republic, and schools in Japan. His stage experience began at age 5 in, Teahouse of the August Moon, Annie, Anything Goes, Die Fledermaus, Fiddler on the Roof, Gigi, Jesus Christ Superstar (European Tour), Principal Dancer in the Arabian Dance in Coupe' Ballet's The Nutcracker, Lead Dancer in Westchester Ballet's production of Les Sylphides, Principal Dancer for Max Stone, Principal Dancer for Edward Morgan, Principal Dancer for Tsai Fung Modern Dance Company, Principal Dancer in Baroque and Dance Festival in Valtice Czech Republic, Principal Dancer in Telstar German Emmy Awards, and Lead Dancer in The Tides of Intolerance at the Asia Society, New York City. Mr. Foresman has also modeled in New York, Los Angeles, and Japan. In 2002, he earned degrees in Anatomy and Physiology, Massage Therapy, Functional Assessment, and was certified in Shiatsu at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York city. In 2005, he and his wife moved from New York City to Paducah to teach full-time for the Beverly Rogers Academy. In 2009, the Beverly Rogers Academy competed its way to one of the top 10 schools Nationwide by Star Systems, an extremely competitive dance competition. Mr. Foresman is proud to have had a hand in raising the level of technique necessary for such an achievement and is passionate and excited to bring the highest levels of dance to the community's children of all ages here in Paducah!
Mrs. Foresman trained as a rhythmic gymnast, ballerina, and modern dancer. She made the national dance team in Russia and competed against the best rhythmic gymnasts in the world. At age 20 she left Russia and danced internationally. She has performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the world including Carnegie Hall, the Joyce Theater, and the Danny Kaye Playhouse. She has since retired from the professional dance scene but still helps out at the BRD Academy. Beverly is proud to have such an accomplished professional teaching at her school.
Natalia Ejova was born in Obninsk, Russia. At the age of six, she began training in Rhythmic Gymnastics under Tatiana Victornivna Ryazhnova. Over the next twelve years, she rose to be one of the top competitors in all of Russia. After leaving gymnastic competition, Natalia turned her attention and energy to dance. She became a member of the top cabaret show in all of Russia, Alex Show, and, in time, became a choreographer and dance captain. Natalia traveled throughout Europe to attend and train at various dance festivals, studying with some of the top teachers in the world including Mark Haim, Desmond Richardson, and Matt Mattox. In her career as a dancer, Natalia performed with the Imperial Russian Ballet under Maya Plisetskaya, Momix, Complexions, the folk company Barynya and with the North American and Irish tours of Riverdance.
While living in New York City, Natalia became the Head Coach of Big Apple Rhythmic Gymnastics and also assisted with Gold Ray Rhythmic Gymnastics. During her New York Coaching, Natalia’s students were ranked among the top two gymnasts in New York State and received many other top honors. After moving to New Jersey, Natalia founded Ejova Gymnastics. In only their third year, Ejova Gymnastics has already won top awards at competitions in Harlem, NY, and Maryland. Natalia brings to her school the same strict, systematic method of training she experienced as a gymnast in Russia, guiding her athletes to be strong, graceful and elegant. She is so excited to be working with the amazing dancers at the Academy
Julia began dancing at the Academy when she was just two years old and knew that the stage was where she was meant to be. She began dancing competitively when she was 8 and traveled the country performing and winning numerous awards at regional and national dance competitions. She went on to pursue a double major in Dance and Accounting at Point Park University, and is now a CPA. During her college career, she had the honor of performing Complexion's Mercy, Robert Battle's Rush Hour, an original work by Twyla Tharp at ADF, and Romeo & Juliet by Nicolas Petrov. She's also performed at Cedar Point as a Dancer and Aerialist and at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Julia was seen onboard the Norwegian Gem performing Swing! The Musical as the West Coast Couple, along with Norwegian's brand new show Blazing Boots. She is based in New York City continuing her performing career in musical theater, but is excited to continue to share her passion for dance and excellence with the Academy as a guest instructor.
Kelsey began dancing in 2006 at the BRD Academy. She assisted teaching classes continuously from 2012. Her work as stage manager at the Academy's recitals for the past 2 years has been invaluable. Miss Miller was a member of the Paducah Symphony Youth Orchestra in 2010-2011 as a violinist and graduated from Tilghman High School in 2016 with honors. She was concert master of the Paducah Tilghman Orchestra for two years and band captain for 2 years for the Paducah Tilghman Band of Blue. She received a Freshman Excellence scholarship award for academic excellence. She is working on a Bachelors degree in Music Education with a minor in Psychology at Northern Kentucky University. She was also a member of the NKU Philharmonic where she had the honor to perform with world renowned cedar flute player, Carlos Nakai, at Christ Church Cathedral in Cincinnati, Ohio. The NKU Philharmonic performed a special “Reel Encounters” benefit concert to give younger children a chance to see a full orchestra in Covington, Kentucky and was a member of the NKU Pep Band for 2 years. She performed in the orchestra pit for NKU School of the Art’s production of “Impressario.” Miss Miller was also a part of a performing String Quartet and Trio for 3 years. She managed the Southern Color Guard Circuit competition in Bowling Green, Kentucky and will continue her Music Education degree at Murray State University starting in 2019. Miss Kelsey Miller is very excited to be a part of the Faculty and looks to bring a multidimensional learning environment at the Beverly Rogers Academy. She will teach her students to become well versed in dance technique and musical form as well as gain confidence in their abilities. Miss Miller says, "we must not underestimate the importance of child development. It is imperative these young people understand they possess the abilities to reach for their goals and dreams."
